WHAT WE HAVE DONE
——Community Support during pandemic

Treading through the pandemic and returning to normal over the past three years and more is challenging for many parents and their children, which includes going through anxiety, depression, and loss. Many parents have to deal with different life stresses while helping their children heal from the loss and adapt to learning. Many children have to manage some behavioral changes carried forward from the pandemic while rebuilding the distant peer relationships resulting from the pandemic and embracing the new hybrid learning. The changes bring stress and conflicts to the parents and children. Parents need to help themselves and their children accept the changes and build harmonious family relationships in the face of pressure. How to detect and respond to your emotional issues and those in your children? Those are the questions many parents would like to learn.
We have scheduled one Mandarin Workshop and one Cantonese Workshop to help parents adapt to the new normal. The Workshop is New Generation Challenges – Emotional Management and Parent-Child Relationship. The workshops suit families with school-aged children and parents interested in the topic. The workshops are free of charge.
